Monmouth County, New Jersey – Auric Innovations has been awarded a $75,000 grant from the New Jersey Commission on Innovation and Technology (NJCIT) to further develop Tele-TQ, a groundbreaking emergency tourniquet system with telemedicine capabilities.

Tele-TQ is designed to retrofit existing tourniquets, transforming them into smart medical devices capable of automatically transmitting vital signs and calling for help. This innovation is particularly valuable in military and remote emergency applications, where immediate medical intervention may be delayed.

With this funding, Auric Innovations aims to refine the technology, ensuring seamless integration with current tourniquet models and optimizing its ability to provide real-time data for first responders and medical personnel. The Tele-TQ system has the potential to enhance battlefield and emergency medical care by improving response times, increasing survivability, and reducing preventable fatalities.
